Hi, I'm Joanne Morcom and I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, near The Rocky Mountains, the rolling prairie and the rugged badlands. I'm a social worker, certified laughter yoga leader and I also write haiku, tanka and haibun poetry. In November 2006, Sam's Dot Publishing in Cedar Rapids, Iowa published my scifaiku chapbook, A Nameless Place. In 2007, pooka press of Vancouver B.C. published my poetry postcards and a photobooth broadside. In April 2009, Inkling Press released my tanka, haiku and senryu book About the the Blue Moon.
